My leading client in Oxford is looking for a Junior Support Analyst to join their team. If you have gained a good understanding of IT, be that from commercial experience or from your academic studies, then my client could be interested to hear from you!
In this role, the Junior Support Analyst will be providing 1st line desktop support to approximately 50 users, for Windows XP/7 and also Mac OS X. You will be responsible for building desktops and laptops, as well as supporting and maintaining them. As you learn and progress, you will also get the opportunity to provide basic support and administration to my client’s network and servers.
To be successful in this position as a Junior Support Analyst, you will ideally have gained some previous experience of providing basic desktop support, although this may have come from work experience, a college placement, or helping friends and family. You will need to be able to demonstrate a good understanding of Microsoft products such as Windows XP, 7 and Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel), and also computer hardware. Any experience with Apple Mac products would be a big plus!
